Your role

As an Account Manager in the Netherlands, you are the face for our customers in the construction sector. You maintain relationships with wholesalers, construction companies and finishing contractors and know exactly how to strategically market our products. You spot opportunities, respond to market developments and ensure that customers choose us again and again.

Your duties as an account manager

  • Relationship management & customer contact: You build and maintain strong partnerships with wholesalers, construction companies and finishing contractors.
  • Commercial growth: You identify market developments, translate these into opportunities and ensure a growing customer base.
  • Advising & selling: You advise customers about our products and solutions and close successful deals.
  • Collaboration & service: You interact with the office staff to ensure orders, deliveries and after-sales run smoothly.

What we’re looking for:

  • A completed commercial education (HBO) and/or experience in a comparable position within the construction, wholesale or manufacturing industry.
  • Affinity with the technology of the construction and/or steel industry.
  • Strong social and negotiation skills: you know how to build and maintain relationships.
  • A proactive, enterprising attitude and a keen eye for commercial opportunities.
  • Independence and perseverance: you arrange your own success.
  • Creativity and solution-oriented thinking, so that you always offer customers the best service.
