Overhoeks Block N

On the former Shell site on the IJ in Amsterdam North, the modern district Overhoeks is under construction. Overhoeks will be a sustainable and green district where people live, work, go out and go to school. Schuurmans AS provides the completion of multiple blocks. Block N (The Louise) comprises 113 social housing units, including 4 wheelchair-accessible homes. We have supplied Schuurmans AS with custom C-profiles for this block, but also have provided the u-profiles at a special length, 2,705 mm. This allowed our client to better manage the logistical challenges on the job. All profiles were delivered per floor, which also saved our client a lot of time on the building site.
