The old city hall of Almelo is ready for a new future. In this central location, just around the corner from the city center, a beautiful residential building flaunts 90 unique town houses, apartments, maisonettes and lofts. Each is sustainable and equipped with its own outdoor space. Eissink, commissioned by construction consortium Goossen te Pas and Salverda Bouw, has converted the old city hall into apartments for new residents.
Construction started in late 2021. The converted living quarters were delivered in February 2022. Eissink creates all metal stud interior walls here. Mainly U50 and C50 – double plated and insulated. And occasionally, some C75 and C100, is applied.Suspended ceilings: in all apartments, metal stud ceilings are applied with a double grid; U27 C60/27.Mainly standard ceiling covered with 1 x plasterboard.On some floors it’s combined with Novlam Plaster, because of fire requirements.
