Ceiling profiles: single or double grid?

The frame of our ceiling system consists of single or double battens. Double framework offers the advantage that you create a flatter, more stable and sturdier frame for mounting the ceiling profiles. Is there not enough height to make a double frame? Then a single frame offers a solution.

We do not produce alone. We think along with you.

Technical advice and customization are the basis of every solution. Just like logistics through just-in-time delivery and possibly packaged per department or space. This also applies to our ceiling profiles. Complete with certificates.

Our ceiling profiles: also extra corrosion resistant!

Our ceiling profiles can also be supplied in Magnelis steel. This is extra corrosion resistant. The accessories are provided with a coating depending on the application.

Installing ceiling profiles

Install the hangers in rows. There must be a maximum distance of 300 mm between the wall and the first row of hangers. The c.o.h. distance between the rows (and therefore between the basic profiles) depends on the thickness of the plates, the number of plate layers and any additional weight. This also applies to the centre. distances between the hangers per basic profile.

Depending on the superstructure and height, you choose a type of suspension. Apply acoustic tape to the back of the ceiling profiles. If there are large irregularities of more than 4 mm, the walls must first be leveled before the ceiling is mounted. Attach the edge profiles to the walls and columns perpendicular to the direction of the plate-bearing profiles. For concrete or stone walls, use impact plugs of 5 x 35 mm. For walls made of plasterboard panels that go through the ceilings, attach the edge profiles through the panels to the wall posts. Is it not possible to mount on the wall studs? Then use hollow wall plugs.

The mounting points must be centered. have a distance of 600 mm. Attach the base profiles to the hangers. Use cross connectors to attach the plate-bearing profiles to the base profiles. To extend C-profiles, use connecting pieces.
