We have the right profiles and accessories for both suspended and cantilevered ceilings. For a suspended ceiling, apply acoustic tape to the back of the edge profiles. If there are large irregularities of more than 4 mm on the walls, these must be leveled before installing the ceiling.
To attach the edge profiles to the walls and columns, place them perpendicular to the direction of the plate-bearing profiles. For concrete or stone walls, use 5 x 35 mm impact plugs. For walls made of plasterboard panels that go through the ceilings, attach the edge profiles to the wall posts through the panels. Is mounting to wall studs not possible? Then use hollow wall plugs.
It is important that the mounting points are evenly spaced with a mutual distance (center to center) of 600 mm. The base profiles are attached to the suspension points and cross connectors are used to attach the plate-bearing profiles to the base profiles. Normally screwing is not necessary, except for mounting brackets. Quick-build screws are used on both sides of the plate-bearing profiles for secure attachment.
